February 2024

My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

2 Corinthians 12 v 9

Everyone of us has a desire to be strong, but that might be in different categories: work, finance, fitness, employment, popularity, and the list can go on.  Even within our walk as disciples, we are tempted to present a desired version of ourselves to those around us,

yet we are all too aware of our sin, struggles and failings.  This is where the gospel is totally counterintuitive: Christ’s strength and power does not rest upon the brightest disciple or biggest church, but in weak followers of Jesus who rests in Him.

At this year’s Keswick at Portstewart we’ll be exploring the theme ‘Strength in Weakness’.

Our team of Speakers for 2024 includes John Risbridger, David Cassidy, and Simon Genoe.  We look forward to welcoming back John who was with us previously in 2018 when we very much appreciated his ministry from God’s Word.  John will be bringing us the morning Bible teaching this year.  For David Cassidy (USA) and local guy Simon Genoe, it’s their first time at Keswick at Portstewart.  We look forward to their ministry at our Evening Celebrations this July.  Keep an eye on our social media as we share more information about our speakers and our 2024 theme, ‘Strength in Weakness’.
